CompJPG is an independent website and product. It helps people reduce photo file sizes with understandable controls and immediate comparisons.

Why it exists

Many image tools hide compression choices or upload files before explaining what will happen. CompJPG keeps the process visible: choose quality, choose dimensions, compare the result, and decide whether to download it.

How processing works

The compressor uses browser image and canvas capabilities. Selected images are processed on the visitor’s device and are not uploaded to a CompJPG server for compression.

What CompJPG is not

CompJPG is not a cloud photo library or permanent file host. It does not replace keeping original files and backups. The result should always be reviewed before important use.
